EA Sports has tweeted that Luis Suárez, who had been banned from international and club football for biting Italian centre-back Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup earlier this year, can now be selected in FIFA 15 Ultimate Team Coins mode, with the player’s real-life ban officially ending at club level this weekend.
Although the career mode did state he “will not be available for selection until 26 October 2014,” the 2013/2014 PFA Player of the Year is rumoured to be making his debut in La Liga tomorrow for Barcelona’s first El Clásico match of the season against their rivals Real Madrid.
With Luis Suárez’s 89-rated striker card on Ultimate Team making the Barcelona forward one of best player ratings in authentic fifa 15 coins, no doubt his ban being lifted will make him a priority for enthusiastic FIFA fans to obtain (that is, if you can afford his price on Ultimate Team).
FIFA 15 is available for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, Wii and PC. For more details on this year’s instalment, you can find the Gamer Headlines review for FIFA 15 here.
